hell yes. hell yes.

As I have told you multiple times on aim over the long process of you making this crazy thing, BAD ASS.

A marriage of good music with animation that matches up with it perfectly. Coupled with a great dusty orange art palette and brilliant cinematography.

It just all ties together so well and I am SO GLAD its finally done.

i had to do something like this in college. i recall i took the line agent smith says in the matrix "I must get out of here...I must GET FREE" and applied it to a hamster in a tank.

good cinematography
really good explosion graphics
good short overall

kudos on using flight of the Valkyries
also kudos on subtle use of optimus prime

original, and very cute

its so refreshing to see something stylized and imaginative on the portal. everyone these days seems to be trying to imitate someone else. it makes you feel sick just to come here.

this however was great. it didnt look like anything else on this site. and it told a nice story that wasnt too long or too short. the animation was all pretty good for the most part.

special kudos to that fire though. the looping fire was godly.
i liked the minimalist art style as well.

good video editing as well. not perfect but very close to it. the monster sometimes didnt move with the camera's shakiness as well as it could have.

there is potential here. while your character has no insane amount of detail (which is perfectly fine) he is recognizable (which is good).

the animation seemed a bit odd. the frame-by-frame parts that were traditionally animated seemed to have much thicker linework than the parts where you just tweened body parts around. There were some places here where you were trying to make your character "swoosh" and stretch and smear to show fast movement, like when he knocked things off the tablet.
I think you could go alot crazier with this sort of thing.
It almost seemed liked you were afraid to take it too far.

But this sort of character is the perfect vehicle for taking it to far. He's a patchwork blob! Have him really FLAIL!

Also good choice in music. Not enough people have been exposed to the rock opera grandeur that is the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Also, and this pertains to the let-yourself-go-crazy thing i wrote above, this seems like the sort of character that is funnier the more its injured. Like a Wile E Coyote but much cuter.

Hot sauce in eyedrops, while a cute concept is a bit nonsensical if only because there FAR WORSE and FAW MORE HAZARDOUS fluids that can be mistaken for eyedrops.

Hell, there are drinking games devoted to squirting hot sauce in one's eye!

Now personally i'm not "scared" to take it too far, this idea started out with me saying "there's a visine for that" in school waaaaay too much and people were annoyed, and then i drew a little cartoon of a guy with a toothpick in the eye, and it ended up as this.

Already i've planned for 2 more patchman flashes, one he does fail hardcore, but another its... a different kind of fail :P You'll see i guess.

I still dont like you but this was pretty ok.

I am confused why the rhino wears armor. But considering the themes, it doesnt need to make sense really considering the bat is dressed like a person from the victorian era.

i left a longer review in that other place. i also left an image of some dapper men in pantaloons.
