You've set a new standard when it comes to 2d done in a 3d style.
I dont even wanna think about all the layers and meticulous planning that must have gone into this to make it look as good as it did.

But it sure payed off.
A visual feast with a lovely neon art style (which no doubt people will rip off sometime in the future).

Hell yes.

Alot of people do the whole "Stick figures mindlessly fight" thing. And alot of them do it gray arenas like yours.

But, this one pulls it off with style. I dont know if you used the in-flash virtual camera or what, but you pulled this off with snazz.

Kudos to using White Stripes music as well.

I love how people are complaining that the graphics are bad when the original was a SPRITE cartoon containing no original graphics or animation.

Normally when people do rotoscoping in flash it looks like sheite.

You have done what noone else has.

This looks nearly as good as A Scanner Darkly did.

As funny as the first Lost Rhapsody as well.

woo yay.

Do tell, did you use some 3d software in some of the scenes? Like on the machines and whatnot? If not, you are great at lighting things as they move, because when that PWNED thing started getting smashed my eyes near popped out of my head.

Actually, I originally planned to do some 3D work but I ended up not doing any. The clock scene was done using a couple dozen triangle shapes that I shape-tweened in sequence on different layers. Thank you!

Anyway, most collabs these days tend to suck and blow at the same times so I wasnt expecting much.
HOWEVER
This was a rare exception.
Cute, silly and short.

The Bitey one had some bad animation, and the fat yellow farty bird thing was clearly traced. I dunno who the guy in the bush was. Just bad overall on that one.

Swiftie's was great. I wasnt expecting the guy to chainsaw himself IN TEH FAIC, and overall it was well drawn. So woo yay.

Skeik's was sprite animation. AKA the crappiest kind of animation around. However he gets props for using one of the greatest songs ever to escape the vocal cords of a human being and henceforth be recordificated onto a record. Sprites still suck though. Lern 2 draw.

Daj's was the best.
Simple, yes, but he/she/it/banana clearly understands physics, and how things move to look realistic while at the same time remaining cartoony. Special props for the liquid dripping onto the skull, for the amount of time it lasted on screen and being smooth, must have taken a good while to get that looking right.
Also well done on using Flash 8 blurs but not OVER-using them like so many people (mainly clock/locks). You used them in simple subtle ways that made this look a bit more professional.

So overall it was pretty good (except for the sprites).

Just another clock crew ripoff.

Too many flash 8 effects.

Uncreative animation.
I'd suggest watching "Strawberry Goes Camping" as it shows how to animate clocks in a much niftier way so they look like living things and not shapes flipping around.

Other than that, its allright.

Well, to tell you the truth, it was my second only animation and the first one I did in Flash 8.
You shouldn't ask for too much from a beginner.
But at least you really ment what you said.
