Haha, Who's Hungry is a brilliant take on the Hansel and Gretel story. Loved how the cutesy kids clashed with the macabre environment.
Hungu and Whale Paradise were also great. I really liked the tribal music and art style of Hungu, while Whale Paradise just felt super emotional.

just wanted to say, your great cartoons front page posts are really good. I've watched quite a few of the cartoons you've suggested and there really are a couple of amazing gems I'd never heard of before. I can never forget Cannon Fodder, for example, which is an brilliant and highly evocative cartoon, with a theme I'd never seen before in a anime.
So, in short, thanks for all the effort you put into this and for sharing your finds. I imagine you don't get many thanks, so I thought it high about time I did so. Cheers!
