I agree with you about WB having used a lamer intro. Honestly the intro you have here is more fitting to the story and provides a slight insight as to where the Joker came from.
I was overjoyed some years, after witnessing it on WB2 here in CO, to find a DVD with better scenes all around. The way the Joker dies in Arkham asylum on the WB2 was stupid too. The DVD provided a better ending.

Wow those were some great cartoons. Who's Hungry was great, and The Missing Key kind of reminded me of something Studio Ghibli would make. Kind of.
