I felt it was a good companion to the graphic novel and whether or not it was really a great film I can't deny I loved seeing it come to life, not so sure how I would have enjoyed it quite so much if I hadn't read the source material long before. Opening credits were gorgeous.
And I pissed 3 times during it....
yeah the intro and the whole part covering doctor manhattan's creation were my favorite parts

it gave me the same chills that the book did. and that creepy little organ music that played during the whole scene really perfected those scenes.

I think it's cool that you scramble up videos like this. Not all of these are my cup a tea, but does not hurt to show people that animation techniques exist out side of flash.

it can be read fully in a couple of hours if you read fast

my only fear with doing one is that i'd basically end up doing wrong what the tv show TOONHEADS did right several years ago when they showed the Terrible Ten on television
i enjoyed the billion dollar gravy one... the color palette is lovely and the spikey pupils thing was also a refreshing take. I wish flash had a more efficient way to do complex masks like the one in that female character... using a layer effect would so drag down the processor on peoples computers but its so cool.

Studio Ghibli does make some really good stuff.
And Watchmen was good, but there were some pointless scenes. I probably had to have read the comic, though.
