it's very simple.
what you need to do is this:
have no confidence in your work whatsoever and deprive yourself of sleep every day making terribly mediocre flash cartoons over and over until your sick of it and hate animating and your passion for it is gone.
and then eventually when it comes back, you'll find you've been imbued with the ability to animate slightly better than you did a year previously, but still not good enough for your own low standards and eventually you'll get frustrated and give up again.
Repeat this over and over and after a few hundred cartoons you will finally make something almost halfway decent.
