Beautiful.

I somehow doubt this is your FIRST flash movie. ;)
You are way too good for an amateur.
This was fantastic. Great color scheme, cute characters, wonderful action and movement, and Mistery Cat has such a cute high-pitched raspy voice that suits his character design perfectly.
Really its the little details that make this cartoon nice. The way the clouds roll in, the brown earthy tones to everything, and the way the characters talk.

This I think, will be one of the first and only cartoon series on the internet made in flash that will be worth watching! That is, if the following episodes have this same level of fantastic quality! And I have a sneaky suspicion they will! ^_^

Meh.

This was quite mediocre, I beleive. Especially for a Legendary frog cartoon.
I am not a huge fan of your cartoons. The only one I've ever really liked was "The Return of Ganondord" which I have in my favorites. That cartoon was funny.
But your others are not. Why?
Because in Return of Ganondorf, the characters were funny. They werent funny because they only spouted 1-liners. They werent funny because they referenced video games or computer games all the time.

But all your other cartoons do that. Its as if in Return of Ganondorf, you made something funny, and then all that just died and you continued to make lots of just...not good flash.

Another thing is that in Return of Ganondorf, the characters moved around alot. Which was neat. Most of your flash has characters who either stand very still, or move with some very painfully icky tween animations.

This cartoons is like your bad ones. But even worse so, because nothing happens really in this flash. There's no climax or anything to capture the viewer's attention. Of course, the score is going up but thats mainly due to world-of-warcraft fans who dont understand how flash works or have seen a really good fantasy-based Flash like the Bitey series or Pustota and so forth.

Honestly, I think you gave up. This cartoon just seems to shreik "I am tired of making flash, and I am going to do the bare minimum"
The dwarf/gnome/midget's voice was very irritating, and he barely moved at all. This is something one expects from your flash, but here it was dissapointing.

Where? Where and how does this look in any way different than your usual "minimalist anime" style that you usually use? The art style here looks like your other things. :C

Overall, this was just....depressing. Its been so long since you made a flash, one was lead to think perhaps you were working on something fantastic, and your author's comments lead us to beleive that you had.
But you hadnt.
This is just like many of your other flashes. Based on premade characters and a plot based entirely on a video game with jokes only people who play that video game will understand.

I still hope one day you can make something as satirically funny as Return of Ganondorf. But as your cartoons have gone steeply downhill, I think it is a fool's hope. I dont think you'll ever have the need to make something decent again.
And slowly, like many other once-popular author's you will slide, sadly, into the blam bin.

So much perfection. Silly frame-by-frame animation. Fantastic music. Beautiful camera angles.
You know I have always loved your flash ArmyBug. But as I said last night, you are fucking awesome. You have such a beautifully cute and wiggly style of animation. And you triplified it in this cartoon. This cartoon is just perfect. Its silly, random, and contains one of the most bizarre songs ever recorded in history.
I mean liek omg wtf.
It was an honor to make preloader graphics with you, sir. And it was an honor to do Bowser's voice.

Alas.

Its sad that of all the people who helped make this, the only ones who actually can animate were Astro and Quimera. All the other scenes were painfully bad.
Overall, the graphics fluxuated from bad to good.
I have you a 0 in style, because Anime is the most cliched and overrused "art form" that plagues animation these days.
Sound I gave a 10, as that song makes me wanna take a chance and do a....HIP HOP.....DANCE!
Violence I gave a 7 for teh swordies and teh explosionies.
Interactivity I gave a 4 because my penguin gods deemed it the righteous thing to do.
Humor: 0 because this was an action flick, not a comedy. So thats one is rather obvious.

Overall, pretty decent. Not deserving of a 4.10 in the least. A 4 yes, maybe.
I hope though, that perhaps you will all take it upon yourselves to create your own personal and original art styles, instead of just copying japan overdone "art"

Hey look everyone. Its yet ANOTHER anime-styled cartoon about some goofy character being a lifeguard and helping some chick with oversized boobs. And they are both weird dragon-creatures with bulging crotches.

Just what the world needs to see.

Get a more original concept and stop repeating an art form that Japan invented. Disgusting. Come up with your own style.

I realize you probably arent going to read this review. I realize, if you do, you will miss the entire point of what I am trying to say, write some poorly spelled response, and pretend I never exsisted.
But I dont care.
You know, the problem with Newgrounds is, almost the entire audience here is 12-16 years old. The majority of them are goths, who think Family Guy is the best show ever, drink massive amounts of vodka until they vomit, adore anime, and think the word "fag" is a trendy and cool insult.
But thats OK. After a while, one realizes that the people here are stupid. And what more proof do we need than the 4.12 score this animation has.
Look, obviously you made this to be offensive right? Super-horny-gay mario. Yes, there is potential for comedy there. Horny bastards are funny. Mario is a fat italian plumber. Hell, he's comedy gold. He's as innocent a character as Mickey Mouse or Kirby or Dora the Explorer. But thats where the comedy comes from. Taking an innocent character and making them do horrifying gross things is always funny. Thats why you laugh at T-Shirts that show Mickey flicking off tourists and pictures of Curious George in bondage.

You made one very large mistake.
You used sprites. And that is why I lowered your score. And that is why I voted zero.
You see....about 100 years ago, a man recorded himself repainting an image repeatedly. When played, it seems like he and the image interact. Animation was born from this. Animation turned 100 years old this year. About a decade ago, a small software development company called Macromedia made a program which eventually became flash! Hooray! Independent animators could make cartoons of varying styles and quality.
But then we come to folks like yourself.
Rather than getting off your butt and learning to draw, you chose, instead to take COPYRIGHTED PRE-MADE images (sprites) from Mario+Luigi (a very good game) and make them spaz about the screen. A cartoon is only the sum of its parts.
Good concept, no graphics made by you. This cartoon should NOT have a score above a 3 simply because none of it was really made by you.

Basically put: you stole fizzy lifting drinks. you bumped into the ceiling which now needs to be washed. You get nothing. You lose! Good day, sir!

Learn to draw.
Dont be lazy about something you care about.
Just learn to draw.

Newgrounders: this cartoon may have entertained you, but bear in mind. These are tweened sprites. This cartoon took, maybe, a day to be made. Give it a score it deserves.
