StrawBerry Ice Cream!

"Cool."

date: March 6, 2005

This was actually pretty good. The drawings were a bit bleh, but everything else was good.

(although you might want to credit whoever made that music. I know I've heard it somewhere before).

Besides that I liked this. Judging by the score I'm the ONLY person who liked this,

Author's Response:

second: paragonX9 w00t!! X_9
third: thats by krinkles, i got it at madness combat dot com

Roof Tiling

"Incredible."

This animation is a masterpeice.
Beautiful. Dark. Forboding. Timeless. Absorbing. And ultimately a very disturbing look on the hopeless situation of a manic man.

But like your Alan cartoon, Mr.Firth this cartoon transcends Flash.

One can always tell when a cartoon has been made by a computer.
But this animation does not look like it was done by computer.
It looks like very high-quality cel or stop-motion animation.
You have shown another way Flash can be used to animate.

Bravo. Another masterpeice.

Making A Preloader

"Saved by a review."

submission: Making A Preloader
date: March 6, 2005

At first I wasn't going to give this a 10, mainly because the cartoon goes along so well, until the audience gets to the actionscript part.

One can't tell by looking at the text, where the spaces are, where the gaps between words are and such. I was very sad and dissapointed when I got to that part, because there was no copy and paste for people who couldn't write script if their lives depended on it.

Luckily, I read through the reviews, and another reviewer placed all the code there (except with one error you fixed). Thusly, as soon as I have time, I am going to try this out.

If it works, I will forever be in your debt, sir.
You'll never know how many websites, and shitty tutorials I have slogged through to learn a "simple" preloader. Simple, my foot!
I have been wanting to have a preloader to call my own ever since I started playing with Flash 4 years ago.

If this works, I will worship your mighty wisdom for eternity.

Despite your cartoons being deleted, its nice to see you rise from the ashes like a pheonix to deliver more weird random flash goodies to us.

Good for you! :>

These cartoons were quite nice. Huzzah!

submission: Big Bag

I can't tell in my brain if this was just a pile of random thingies set to music, or one of the coolest frame-by-frame music videos I've ever seen.

Either way, it "roxx0red teh boxx0rs"

Me likey.

Author's Response:

It was more random thingies set to music :)

save the gnomes

"Lovely."

submission: save the gnomes

The drawings were a bit......meh.....but this was very fun.

And for those who can't get past the first level: JUMP ON THE LAWNMOWER. (dont worry it's friendly).

I liked this mainly because it gave me a nostalgic "Mario" feeling as I played.

Robot ball z

"Nope."

Look.
You can draw. But you didnt animate anything in this.
Basically, some very square buildings, and alot of wiggling hair.

Also, DragonballZ is not exactly a "good show"
The characters were well drawn, but they barely moved, and looked completely out of place in your crappily-drawn city.

Methinks you traced the characters.
Also, writing responses to reviews that sound like a 10-year-old wanting a fistfight aren't making you look cool or mature.

This is, quite simply, a bad cartoon. No more. No less.

submission: FBF Madness 2

Wow!
That was awesome.
Extremly good frame-by-frame animation. Very hypnotic and addictive.

And the music especially fit it perfectly.

How long did this take to make?

Author's Response:

Thanks!

How long? I don't know exactly, not too long..

"Haha!"

submission: Make Up Trouble

Very funny. and cute.

This is one of the most original Flash animations I've seen on this website!

Very lighthearted, too. So many cartoons these days are black and dark and gruesome.

Not only is it good frame-by-frame animation, you also used different styles of drawing.

Bravo!
